Draw On 25 Years Of Knowledge And Experience

A True Desire To Teach And Help

You don’t find many attorneys like Sam Thomas III. He’s the kind of person who really cares about people, and he enjoys helping them. He also knows how to communicate, teach and win. And it is this unique combination of talents that guided him to start a career in law.

Sam knows that his extensive experience helping people in the court system gives him a unique kind of wisdom. While he still practices actively in the areas of estate planning, probate and business law, he is phasing out of the courtroom and into the classroom, imparting that wisdom to help people avoid legal entanglements through seminars, speaking engagements and one-on-one coaching.

Drawing On Diverse Life Experiences

While working in the business sector, Sam was already known as an advocate, keenly aware of the need to improve the working opportunities for women. He is proud of the fact that, under his leadership, business opportunities for women grew.

Sam also brings knowledge of the workings of government to his clients. Sam worked for the City of Cleveland for a number of years. But that work was not an end for Sam. He had grown fond of helping people deal with the confusion of government process. And he was good at it too. It was only natural that he would be inclined to get his law degree and turn that desire to help into a new profession.

Sam Thomas III is a two-time graduate of Cleveland State University, earning an undergraduate degree in Business Administration while competing as a member of the varsity basketball team. He returned to Cleveland after a ten-year absence and earned his law degree.

During his 10-year absence, he earned a dual master’s degree in education and counseling and guidance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. That stint prepared him to serve as the Assistant to the Dean at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. He was then appointed director of a living learning residence center at The Ohio State University where he taught a class to help students make the transition to college from high school.

Later Sam served as the Associate Dean of Students at DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio. During his higher education professional career, he served as an administrator of student programs, teaching, and coaching basketball.

“We Can Help” Is A Frame Of Mind
